App Terms & Conditions

These App Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the RentalBoat.gr / Rental Boat Moraitis mobile application for iOS and Android.
By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
These Terms apply only to the mobile application. They are separate from any terms that may apply to the website https://rentalboat.gr/ or to any final boat rental agreement confirmed separately with Rental Boat Moraitis.
1. Who we are
The RentalBoat.gr / Rental Boat Moraitis mobile app is operated by:

2. Purpose of the app
The app is designed to help users browse boat rental options, view boat details, compare boats, save favorites locally on their device and submit inquiries or request offers.
The app is a browsing and lead generation tool. It is not an online booking platform.
3. No confirmed booking through the app
Submitting a contact form, inquiry form, request offer form or “Check Availability & Get Offer” form through the app does not create a confirmed booking.
A booking is only confirmed when Rental Boat Moraitis separately confirms the availability, final price, rental conditions and any required payment, deposit or agreement.
The app does not currently provide:
- Online payment processing
- In-app purchases
- Instant booking confirmation
- Real-time confirmed availability
- User accounts or login
- A direct booking management system
Any offer, reservation, rental agreement or booking confirmation must be completed separately with the Rental Boat Moraitis team.
4. Availability, pricing and rental conditions
Boat availability, pricing, offers, fuel costs, skipper requirements, license requirements, deposits, cancellation terms and rental conditions may vary depending on the boat, date, season, weather, passenger number and other operational factors.
Any information shown in the app is provided for general browsing and inquiry purposes. Final details are confirmed separately by Rental Boat Moraitis.
Rental Boat Moraitis may accept, reject, adjust or clarify any request depending on availability, safety, legal requirements, operational conditions or business policies.
5. Boat information and app content
We aim to keep the information in the app accurate and up to date. However, boat details may change from time to time.
The app may include information such as:
- Boat names
- Boat images
- Boat descriptions
- Capacity
- Length
- Speed
- Amenities
- Technical specifications
- Marina or location information
- License requirements
- Availability or offer-related messages
Despite our efforts, some content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or differences from the actual boat condition or final rental terms.
Rental Boat Moraitis may update, remove, modify or replace boat listings, images, descriptions, features, prices, offers or app content at any time without prior notice.
6. User responsibilities
When using the app, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete contact information when submitting a request
- Submit only genuine and lawful inquiries
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Not submit spam, false requests, abusive content or misleading information
- Not attempt to interfere with the security, functionality or operation of the app
- Not attempt to access backend systems, data or areas not intended for public access
- Not copy, scrape, reproduce or misuse app content without permission
- Not use the app in a way that may harm Rental Boat Moraitis, other users, service providers or third parties
We may ignore, delete or refuse to respond to requests that appear abusive, fraudulent, spam-like, unlawful or unrelated to legitimate boat rental interest.
7. External contact methods and third-party services
The app may allow you to contact Rental Boat Moraitis through phone, email, WhatsApp or external links.
These actions may open third-party apps or services installed on your device, such as your phone app, email app, browser or WhatsApp.
Rental Boat Moraitis is not responsible for the availability, functionality, terms, privacy practices or performance of third-party apps or services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Push notifications
Push notifications are optional.
If you grant permission, the app may send you notifications about new boats, special offers, availability updates and general app or business updates.
Some notifications may open a specific boat page inside the app through a deep link.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to browse the app or submit inquiries.
9. Favorites and compare features
The app may allow you to save favorite boats and compare selected boats.
These features are intended for convenience only. Favorites and compared boats are currently stored locally on your device and are not a confirmed reservation, hold, booking or availability request.
Removing the app from your device may delete locally stored favorites, compared boats and app preferences.
10. Language support
The app may offer Greek and English language support.
We aim to provide clear and accurate translations. However, if there is any inconsistency between language versions of app content, final booking details, rental conditions and business communications confirmed directly by Rental Boat Moraitis will prevail.
11. Intellectual property
All app content, including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, logos, brand names, design elements, layouts, boat content and visual assets, belongs to Rental Boat Moraitis or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You may use the app for personal browsing and inquiry purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, commercially exploit or use any app content without prior written permission from Rental Boat Moraitis, except where permitted by law.
12. App availability and changes
We aim to keep the app available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or available on every device or operating system version.
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the app at any time, including features, screens, listings, notifications or content.
We may release updates to improve functionality, security, performance or compatibility. Some features may not work properly if you do not install the latest available app version.
13. No warranties
The app is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
To the extent permitted by law, Rental Boat Moraitis does not provide warranties that:
- The app will always be available or error-free
- The information in the app will always be complete, current or accurate
- The app will meet every user expectation
- Push notifications, deep links, contact actions or external services will always work without interruption
- A boat shown in the app will be available for a specific date or request
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rental Boat Moraitis is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss arising from or related to your use of the app.
This may include, without limitation, loss resulting from:
- App unavailability or technical errors
- Incorrect, outdated or incomplete app content
- Delayed or failed form submissions
- Delayed or failed push notifications
- Third-party app or service issues
- Device, network or operating system problems
- User reliance on information before final confirmation by Rental Boat Moraitis
Rental Boat Moraitis does not limit or exclude liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
15. Safety, weather and operational conditions
Boat rentals and sea activities may be affected by weather, sea conditions, safety requirements, legal restrictions, licensing requirements, operational limitations and decisions made by Rental Boat Moraitis or relevant authorities.
Information in the app does not override safety decisions, legal requirements, marina rules, captain or skipper decisions, or final rental terms confirmed separately.
Rental Boat Moraitis may refuse, change, postpone or cancel a rental where required for safety, compliance, weather, operational or legal reasons.
16. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our App Privacy Policy, available at:

17. Data deletion and privacy requests
Information about app-related data deletion and privacy requests is available at:
https://rentalboat.gr/app-data-deletion-privacy-requests/Deleting the app from your device may remove local data such as favorites, compared boats and language preferences, but it does not automatically delete requests, newsletter signups or push notification records already submitted to our backend.
18. App store terms
The app may be downloaded through Apple App Store or Google Play.
Your use of the app may also be subject to the applicable terms and policies of Apple, Google and your device platform. These Terms apply between you and Rental Boat Moraitis, but they do not replace any mandatory app store terms that may also apply.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these App Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the app, business operations, legal requirements or app store requirements.
When we update these Terms, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the app after the updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.
Where applicable, disputes may be handled by the competent courts or authorities in Greece, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
